Location

The tropical island resort covers approximately 250 x 800 m and is located in the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. The transfer time from Malé Airport is approximately 55 minutes by domestic flight plus a further 10 minutes by speedboat. Guests of the Amari have free access to the Airport Lounge with snacks and drinks during their outbound journey, with a choice between a long-haul and a domestic flight.

The hotel complex features 120 villas, 60 of which are directly on the west or east beach, and 60 are overwater villas on stilts. Amenities include a reception area with a front desk, a souvenir shop, a sports area, and an emergency clinic. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant "Amaya Food Gallery" with buffet stations and live cooking, and the à la carte restaurant "Ember Grill" (reservations recommended) offering international grilled dishes, vegetarian options, fish, and meat. Additionally, there is the Sunset Bar "Iru", the pizza kiosk "Kaage", and the "Thari" pool bar, open late, by the large swimming pool with a separate children's pool directly on the beach. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are available free of charge.

Beach Villa

The spacious Beach Villas are approx. 95 sqm (including outdoor area) and feature a semi-open bathroom with a bathtub, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee making facilities, safe, daybed, and a private terrace. The rooms are located on the sunrise side (SV2).

Sunset Beach Villa

With the same amenities, the Sunset Beach Villas are located on the sunset side (S2V).

Beach Villa Pool

With the same amenities, these villas feature a private pool in a small garden. The rooms are 121 sqm. (including outdoor area) (VPZ)

Pool Beach Villa Sunset

With the same amenities, these villas feature a private pool on the terrace facing the beach and are located on the sunset side. The rooms are 121 sqm. (including outdoor area) (V2S)

Water Villa

With the same amenities as the Deluxe Beach Villa, the Water Villa is 77 sqm, but without the daybed, built on stilts over the water, with a terrace and direct access to the sea (W2V).

Sunset Overwater Villa (bookable until 31.10.25)

With the same amenities as the Sunset Beach Villa, the Sunset Overwater Villa is built on stilts over the water and is 77 sqm. The villa has direct access to the sea and features a terrace with lounge furniture.

Overwater Pool Villa (bookable until 31.10.25)

With the same amenities as the Overwater Beach Villas, the Overwater Pool Villas are 153 sqm and feature a private pool and a separate living area. The villas are built on stilts and have direct access to the sea.

BB/HB/FB

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served as extensive buffets. For HB and FB, à la carte dinner is possible for 40 USD (without drinks). Drinks such as water, tea, and coffee are only included with breakfast and Premium All Inclusive. A beverage package can be booked additionally.

In addition to full board, enjoy unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (including cocktails and mocktails), selected red/white and rosé wines, and sparkling wine (by the glass), draught beer, selected spirits (by the glass), selected juices, soft drinks, coffee/tea from 10 am to 10 pm in the restaurants and at the respective open bar. Daily minibar replenishment (2 beers, 2 Cokes, 2 Diet Cokes, 1 Fanta, 1 bottle of wine (red or white)).

Premium All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served as extensive buffets in the "REEF" restaurant. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available from 10 am to midnight at the respective open bar. Minibar partially included (2 beers, 2 Cokes, 2 Diet Cokes, 1 Fanta, and 1 house wine).
As of Winter 2025: Guests can choose three additional services or avail themselves of the same additional service up to three times during their stay as part of the Premium All-Inclusive package (PAI). These include, for example, a 60-minute spa treatment, a breakfast-in-bed experience, a sunset cruise, etc. Further information can be requested via email.

Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure between 5 am and 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operation for arrivals/departures approximately between 9:30 am and 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation approximately for arrivals/departures between 9 am and 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside the above-mentioned times, in case of bad weather, or extended waiting times upon entry, a transit overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a booking of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it is possible that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total.
