Location

The tropical resort is approximately 250 x 800 m in size and is located in the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. The transfer time from the airport in Male is approximately 55 minutes by domestic flight, followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride. Guests of the Amari have free access to the airport lounge with snacks and drinks during their outbound journey between the long-haul and domestic flight.

Facilities

The hotel complex features 120 villas, 60 of which are located directly on the western or eastern beach, and 60 on stilts over the water. Amenities include a reception area with a front desk, a souvenir shop, a sports area, and an emergency clinic. Dining options are provided by the main restaurant "Amaya Food Gallery" with buffet at live cooking stations, the à la carte restaurant "Ember Grill" (reservation recommended) offering international grilled specialties, vegetarian dishes, fish and meat, as well as the sunset bar "Iru", the pizza kiosk "Kaage", and the "Thari" pool bar, which is open until late in the evening by the large swimming pool with a separate children's section directly on the beach. Sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are available free of charge.

Sunrise Beach Villa

The spacious Beach Villas are approximately 95 m² in size (including outdoor area) and feature a semi-open bathroom with bathtub, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee-making facilities, safe, daybed, and private terrace. The rooms are situated on the sunrise side (SV2).
Also bookable on the sunset side. (S2V)

Beach Villa Pool

Features the same facilities as the Beach Villa, plus a private pool in a small garden. The rooms are 121 m² (including outdoor area) (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Pool Beach Villa Sunset

Features the same facilities as the Beach Villa, plus a private pool on the terrace facing the beach; these rooms are situated on the sunset side. The rooms are 121 m² (including outdoor area) (V2S).

Water Villa

The Water Villa offers the same facilities as the Deluxe Beach Villa but is 77 m² in size (excluding the daybed), built on stilts over the water, and features a terrace with access to the sea (W2V).

Deluxe Sunrise Beach Villa (bookable from 01.11.26)

Features the same facilities as the Sunrise Beach Villas, but these Deluxe Sunrise Beach Villas are renovated and modernized. Additionally, they are situated on the sunrise side (D2V). Also bookable as Deluxe Sunset Beach Villa (2NX), situated on the sunset side.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the form of rich buffets. With half board (HB) and full board (FB), à la carte dinner is available for a supplement of approximately 40 USD (excluding drinks). Drinks such as water, tea, and coffee are only included if breakfast or Premium All Inclusive is booked. Drinks package can be added.

Premium All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the form of rich buffets in the "REEF" restaurant. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 am to 12 am at the respective open bar. Minibar partially included (2x beer, 2x cola, 2x diet cola, 1x fanta, and 1x house wine).
From Winter 2025: Guests can choose three additional services or enjoy the same service up to three times during their stay as part of the Premium All Inclusive (PAI) package.
