Location

This dream resort is located in the still almost untouched Baa Atoll, surrounded by white, fine-sanded, wide beaches. The island, approximately 650x195 meters in size, lies in the north of the Maldives. Nature lovers will get their money's worth, not least with snorkeling or diving experiences in the colorful house reef located directly in front of the island. The transfer time from Male International Airport is approximately 20 minutes by domestic flight followed by approximately 35 minutes by speedboat. Transfer by seaplane takes approximately 35 minutes and can be booked at an additional charge.

The Avani+ Fares Maldives, newly opened in 2023, features a total of 176 villas and pavilions, spread across the island and on stilts over the water. Amenities include a modern reception area with a lobby and seating, as well as a boutique. For culinary delights, there are four restaurants, two bars, and a cafe. Among them is "The Ocean Terrace" restaurant with international cuisine, the "Charcoal" restaurant with fresh, aromatic grilled dishes, the "Smuggler's Shack" bar with the largest rum collection in the Maldives, and the "Petit Bistro" for younger guests. Additionally, the resort has a swimming pool with a separate children's pool and sea views. Sunshades, loungers, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Accommodation

Beach Villa

The Beach Villa (2BV) is approximately 88 sqm and features a bathroom with shower/toilet, bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobes/slippers, air conditioning, telephone, TV, safe, minibar (for a fee), Nespresso coffee machine, and a furnished terrace. (2BV) Also available as a Beach Pool Villa (VPZ) with a private pool at an additional charge.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to toddlers. Therefore, for bookings of these room types, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children for safety reasons.

Water Villa

The Water Villa (W2V), with the same amenities as the Beach Villa, is smaller (approx. 87 sqm) and built on stilts over the water. Also available with a private pool (WVP) at an additional charge.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to toddlers. Therefore, for bookings of these room types, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children for safety reasons.

Premium DLX Ocean View

With similar amenities to the Beach Villa, the Premium DLX Ocean View (P2O) is smaller (approx. 46 sqm) and does not have a bathtub, but features a furnished balcony. Also available as Premium Beachfront (PBF/PBS) with a bathtub at an additional charge.

Meals

Half Board/Full Board

A rich breakfast buffet at The Ocean Terrace, the main restaurant with international live-cooking stations. With half board booked, an additional dinner is included, which can be enjoyed either at the international themed buffet (reservation required) or in one of the specialty restaurants. Choices include a 3-course menu at Skipjack or Charcoal (reservation required), tapas at Tribe, and a children's restaurant for ages 4-11.99. Drinks are not included. Complimentary snorkeling equipment and one hour of ocean kayaking are available daily during your stay, complemented by rotating yoga, fitness, and wellness programs according to the resort schedule. With full board, both lunch and dinner are included in addition to breakfast at the Ocean Terrace buffet restaurant (reservation required). Drinks are charged according to consumption. Sports and activities are also included.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive package includes a rich breakfast buffet at The Ocean Terrace, as well as a choice of lunch and dinner at one of the offered restaurants. Options include the international buffet at The Ocean Terrace (reservation required), a 3-course menu at Skipjack, curated tapas at Smuggler’s Shack, or the children's restaurant Petit Bistro (reservation sometimes required). Between 11 AM and midnight, an extended selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is available at all open bars without additional charge. Furthermore, minibar drinks and snacks are replenished daily according to the pantry menu (excluding wine). In addition, the All Inclusive package includes the use of snorkeling equipment, one hour of ocean kayaking daily, weekly yoga, breathing, and sound healing sessions, as well as a varied sports program with fitness classes, tennis, and badminton – all according to the resort schedule.

Premium All Inclusive

The Premium All Inclusive package includes a generous breakfast at The Ocean Terrace, as well as the free choice of various restaurants for lunch and dinner. Available options include the international buffet at The Ocean Terrace (reservation required), a 3-course menu at Skipjack or Charcoal (reservation required), curated tapas at Smuggler’s Shack or Tribe, and the Petit Bistro for children aged 4 to 11.99. At all open bars, an extended premium selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is served from 11 AM to midnight. Additionally, the minibar is replenished daily with drinks and snacks according to the pantry menu.
The Premium All Inclusive also includes numerous additional services: complimentary snorkeling equipment, one hour of ocean kayaking daily, weekly yoga, breathing, and sound healing sessions, fitness and sports programs, as well as a one-time shisha session and a one-time laundry service for up to 30 items for stays of seven nights or more. Also included for guests staying seven nights or more is a sunset cruise during their stay.

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended waiting times at immigration (in which case our local agency will arrange for an overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) and currently most domestic flights are only operated during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
