Location

The dream resort is located in the still largely untouched Baa Atoll, surrounded by white, fine-sanded, wide beaches. The island, approx. 650x195 meters in size, lies in the north of the Maldives. Nature lovers will not be disappointed by a snorkeling or diving experience in the colorful house reef located directly in front of the island. The transfer time from Male International Airport is approx. 20 minutes by domestic flight followed by approx. 35 minutes by speedboat. The transfer by seaplane takes approx. 35 minutes and can be booked for an additional charge.

The Avani+ Fares Maldives, newly opened in 2023, has a total of 176 villas and pavilions, spread across the island and on stilts over the water. Amenities include a modern reception area with seating, as well as a boutique. For culinary delights, there are a total of four restaurants, two bars, and a cafe. Among them is "The Ocean Terrace" restaurant with international cuisine, the "Charcoal" restaurant with fresh, aromatic grilled dishes, the "Smuggler's Shack" bar with the largest rum collection in the Maldives, and the "Petit Bistro" for the little guests. Additionally, the resort has a swimming pool with a separate children's pool overlooking the sea. Sun umbrellas, loungers, and bath towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Accommodation

Beach Villa

The Beach Villa (2BV) is approx. 88 m² and features a bathroom with shower/toilet, bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobes/slippers, air conditioning, telephone, TV, safe, minibar (for a fee), Nespresso coffee machine, and a furnished terrace. (2BV) Also available as Beach Pool Villa (VPZ) with private pool for an additional charge.

Water Villa

The Water Villa (W2V) has the same amenities as the Beach Villa but is smaller (approx. 87 m²) and built on stilts over the water. Also available with a private pool (WVP) for an additional charge.

Premium DLX Ocean View

With similar amenities to the Beach Villa, the Premium DLX Ocean View (P2O) is smaller (approx. 46 m²) and does not have a bathtub, but has a furnished balcony. Also available as Premium Beachfront (PBF/PBS) with bathtub for an additional charge.

Board

Half Board/Full Board

A rich breakfast buffet at The Ocean Terrace, the main restaurant with international live cooking stations. With half board booked, a dinner is also included, which can be enjoyed either at the international themed buffet or in one of the specialty restaurants. Options include a 3-course menu at Skipjack or Charcoal (reservation required), tapas at Tribe, and a kids' restaurant for ages 4-11.99. Drinks are not included. During your stay, free snorkeling equipment and one hour of ocean kayaking daily are available, complemented by changing yoga, fitness, and wellness programs according to the resort plan. With full board, breakfast as well as lunch and dinner are included in the Ocean Terrace buffet restaurant. Drinks are charged according to consumption. Sports and activities are also included.

Half Board Plus/Full Board Plus

With HP+ or VP+, dinner can also be enjoyed à la carte in participating restaurants. In addition, selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available free of charge at the open bar between 11 am and midnight. All other sports services correspond to those of half board or full board.

All Inclusive

All inclusive

The All Inclusive package includes a rich breakfast buffet at The Ocean Terrace and a choice of lunch and dinner in one of the offered restaurants. Options include the international buffet at The Ocean Terrace, a 3-course menu at Skipjack, curated tapas at the Smuggler’s Shack, or the Petit Bistro for kids (reservation sometimes required). Between 11 am and midnight, an extended selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is available free of charge at all open bars. Additionally, minibar drinks and snacks are replenished daily according to the pantry menu (excluding wine). Furthermore, the All Inclusive package includes the use of snorkeling equipment, one hour of ocean kayaking daily, weekly yoga, breathing, and sound healing sessions, as well as a varied sports program with fitness classes, tennis, and badminton – all according to the resort plan.

Premium All inclusive

The Premium All Inclusive package includes a generous breakfast at The Ocean Terrace and a free choice of different restaurants for lunch and dinner. Options include the international buffet at The Ocean Terrace, a 3-course menu at Skipjack or Charcoal (reservation required), curated tapas at the Smuggler’s Shack or Tribe, and the Petit Bistro for children aged 4 to 11.99. An extended premium selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is served at all open bars from 11 am to midnight. Additionally, the minibar is replenished daily with drinks and snacks according to the pantry menu.
The Premium All Inclusive also includes numerous additional services: free snorkeling equipment, one hour of ocean kayaking daily, weekly yoga, breathing, and sound healing sessions, fitness and sports programs, as well as a one-time shisha session and a one-time laundry service for up to 30 items for stays of seven nights or more. Also included for guests staying seven nights or more is a sunset cruise during their stay.

Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operation for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1-2 stopovers on seaplane transfers.
For arrival/departure outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or during long waiting times for entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) and currently mostly domestic flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
