Location

The El Mansour Hotel is located directly on one of Mahdia's most beautiful, gently sloping sandy beaches on the Tunisian east coast. The beach stretches for about 20 km and is ideal for long walks and swimming. The surrounding area is tourist-oriented, and the hotel itself impresses with its elegant Moorish-Andalusian architecture. Mahdia's city center is about 3 km away, and shopping facilities are just about 1 km away. A bus stop is located 200 m from the hotel. Monastir International Airport is around 50 km away.

Facilities

The hotel has 307 rooms, of which 257 are in the main building and 50 are in the bungalow area. The bungalow area is approx. 30-100 m from the main building. Hotel amenities include a lobby with reception, an outdoor pool, a children's pool, an indoor pool, a main restaurant, 3 themed restaurants ("Cape Nao" with Mediterranean specialties, "Sofra" with Tunisian specialties, and "Be Beach" directly on the beach (for a fee), and several bars as well as a Moorish café (for a fee). A portion of the rooms and the restaurants were freshly renovated in summer 2025.
The outdoor area features a spacious pool with a separate children's pool and 4 slides. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels (against deposit) are available on the sun terrace. The beach bar is located on the beach. Umbrellas and sun loungers are also available.

Double Room

These rooms feature a bathroom with a shower and separate toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning/heating (seasonal), safe, telephone, mini-fridge (one bottle of water and one soft drink included upon arrival), and a balcony or terrace (D). Available at an extra charge with pool view (PD) or sea view (DM). Also bookable for single occupancy (DE, DEM, DEP) or as a single with child occupancy (D1K, D1M, D1P).
Also available as Super Saver rooms at a special price (limited availability) (SSZ).

Superior Bungalow

The bungalows have the same amenities as the double rooms and additionally feature a small garden area. They are located in the second row from the beach (B12).

Family Room

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious, with an additional bedroom (DF2). Available at an extra charge with sea view (F2M).

Superior Double Room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms have been renovated and boast a more modern look (DSU, ESU, 1DS). Available at an extra charge with sea view (DMU), as well as for single occupancy (ESU/EMU) and as single with child (1DS/1SS).

Breakfast (7-10 am), lunch (12:30-2:30 pm), and dinner (6-9 pm) are served buffet-style. Reservations are required for dinner in the themed restaurants ("Cape Nao" and "Al Sofra" are included). Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also included.
Snacks and drinks are available to guests in "Joe's Lounge" throughout the day.

Sports included

The hotel has three tennis courts with free racket and ball rental (tennis lessons and floodlights available for a fee). Other sports facilities include table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, beach volleyball, beach soccer, water polo, boccia, darts, and frisbee. There are also regular sports tournaments.
The fitness and wellness area offers aerobics, step aerobics, power aerobics, dance aerobics, aqua gym, power stepping, Nordic walking, skipping, morning jogging with a guide, and guided walks. There is also a fitness room.

Sports for a fee

The hotel has three tennis courts with free racket and ball rental (tennis lessons and floodlights available for a fee). Various water sports activities are also provided by local operators.

A diverse and age-appropriate entertainment program is offered for children and teenagers aged 4 to 12 years.
