Location

The Welcome Meridiana hotel is set within a palm grove of approximately 11 hectares, directly on the fine sandy beach. The island capital Houmt Souk is about 22 km away, Midoun is about 6 km away, and the airport is approximately 32 km away.

Facilities

The complex, designed in a traditional local style, comprises 457 rooms and consists of a main building and several annex buildings, the "Menzels". It features a reception area with a desk, a lobby bar, a main restaurant, several themed restaurants (e.g., the "Tunisian" or the "Sidi-Bou Said Restaurant" on the hotel's rooftop terrace), various bars, two Moorish cafés, an amphitheater (open from June 15th to September 15th), an indoor pool (heated, November 1st to April 30th), and a thalassotherapy center. The outdoor area includes a large swimming pool with a separate children's pool and a slide, as well as a pool/snack bar and a beach bar (open during the summer season). Sun loungers, mattresses, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach; beach towels are available for a fee.

Double Room

The rooms, approximately 24 m² in size, are decorated in an oriental style and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning (June 15th-September 15th)/heating (December 15th-February 28th), a safety deposit box (rental fee), a mini-fridge (unstocked, for a fee), telephone, satellite TV, and a balcony or terrace (D/D1K). Some rooms were renovated in 2025, with further renovations planned.
These rooms are also available at an additional charge with a pool view (DP/D1P), sea view (DM/D1M), and for single occupancy (DE/DEP/DEM).

Superior Double Room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these are more spacious (approx. 35 m²) and modernly furnished. The bathroom is more elaborately designed (DSU).
These rooms are also available at an additional charge with a sea view (DMU).

Super Saver Room

Same amenities as the double rooms, limited availability, special price (SSZ).
Some rooms were renovated in 2025, with further renovations planned.

Family Room

Same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 27 m²) and with sleeping facilities for the 3rd or 4th person (DF2). The two sleeping areas are visually separated.
Also available at an additional charge with a pool view (FP2).

Family Room Type B

This category consists of two double rooms, totaling approximately 57 m² in size. The two double rooms are separated by a connecting door (2FB). Some rooms were renovated in 2025, with further renovations planned.

Meals served buffet style. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, early bird and late riser breakfast, snacks, coffee breaks, local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the open bars from 9 AM to midnight, Moorish café open from 4 PM to midnight.
One dinner per stay in the Tunisian restaurant (reservation required).
Beach restaurant lunch served between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM starting from June 1st (subject to availability).

All Inclusive plus (Summer only)

Meals served buffet style. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, early bird and late riser breakfast, snacks, coffee breaks, 24-hour local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the open bars, Moorish café open from 4 PM to midnight.
One dinner per stay in each of the themed restaurants included in AI plus (reservation required). The themed restaurants include: Tunisian Restaurant, Moroccan Restaurant, Fishermans Restaurant, Matmata Restaurant (July 1st - August 31st only), and a Lebanese Restaurant (July 1st - August 31st only).
Beach restaurant lunch served between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM (open from June 1st - September 30th, subject to availability).

All Inclusive Plus (DJE A28)

Same services as All Inclusive until midnight. In winter under DJEA28, AI services are included only until 11 PM, thereafter for a fee.

The Sidi-Bou-Said Restaurant and the Hija Mija Beach Restaurant (open from July 1st - August 31st) are not included in AI/AI+.

Aerobics, fitness room on the beach, mini-golf, water aerobics, basketball, table tennis, darts, boccia, beach volleyball, water polo, tennis (floodlight for a fee), and table tennis.
