Location

The Welcome Meridiana hotel is situated in a palm grove of approx. 11 hectares, directly on the fine sandy beach. The island capital Houmt Souk is approx. 22 km away, Midoun approx. 6 km, and the airport approx. 32 km.

Facilities

The complex, designed in a typical local style, has 457 rooms and consists of a main building and several outbuildings, the "Menzels", a reception area with a reception desk, a lobby bar, a main restaurant, several themed restaurants such as the "Tunisian" or the "Sidi-Bou Said Restaurant" on the hotel's roof terrace, various bars, two Moorish cafés, an amphitheater (June 15 - September 15), an indoor pool (heated, November 1 - April 30) and a thalassotherapy center. In the outdoor area, there is a large swimming pool with a separate children's pool including a slide and a sun terrace, as well as a pool/snackbar and a beach bar (open during the summer season). Sun loungers, mattresses, and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach; bath towels are available for a fee.

Double Room

The rooms, approx. 24 sqm, are decorated in an oriental style and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning (June 15 - September 15)/heating (December 15 - February 28), a safe for rent, a mini-fridge (unstocked, for a fee), telephone, satellite TV, and a balcony or terrace (D/D1K). Some of the rooms were already renovated in 2025, with more to follow.
At an additional charge, these are also available for single occupancy with pool view (DP/D1P), sea view (DM/D1M), and also for single use (DE/DEP/DEM).

Superior Double Room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) and modernly furnished. The bathroom has a more elaborate design (DSU).
At an additional charge, these are also available with sea view (DMU).

Super Saver Room

Same amenities as the double rooms, limited availability, special price (SSZ).
Some of the rooms were already renovated in 2025, with more to follow.

Family Room

Same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 27 sqm) and with sleeping facilities for the 3rd or 4th person (DF2). The two sleeping areas are visually separated.
Also available with pool view at an additional charge (FP2).

Family Room Type B

This category consists of two double rooms, making it approx. 57 sqm in total. The two double rooms are separated by a connecting door (2FB). Some of the rooms were already renovated in 2025, with more to follow.

Meals served buffet-style. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, early bird and late riser breakfast, snacks, coffee break, local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the respective open bar from 9 am to midnight, Moorish café open from 4 pm to midnight.
Dinner at the Tunisian restaurant once per stay (reservation required).
Beach Restaurant + Lunch between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm from June 1st (subject to availability)

All Inclusive Plus (only bookable in summer)

Meals served buffet-style. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, early bird and late riser breakfast, snacks, coffee break, 24-hour local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the respective open bar, Moorish café open from 4 pm to midnight.
Dinner at each of the themed restaurants included in AI Plus once per stay (reservation required). The themed restaurants are: Tunisian Restaurant, Moroccan Restaurant, Fishermans Restaurant, Matmata Restaurant (only from July 1 - August 31) and a Lebanese Restaurant (only from July 1 - August 31).

Sports for a fee

Various water sports offered by local providers nearby (during the summer months). Additionally, there are two golf courses near the hotel.
