Location

The Veranda Tamarin resort is located in the mythical Tamarin Bay. The beach is in the immediate vicinity and is perfect for surfing as well as dolphin watching. From the rooftop bar, you can enjoy exotic cocktails and a fabulous view over the bay and the sea. The capital city, Port Louis, is approx. 35 km away. The transfer time from the airport is approx. 1 hour.

The resort comprises 102 rooms spread over 2 floors. Facilities include an entrance hall with a reception. For culinary delights, there are 3 restaurants and 3 bars. Among them, the "Ye! Man" restaurant with international cuisine and the "Tribu" restaurant with fresh pizzas and sophisticated snacks. The outdoor area features a swimming pool, and on the rooftop terrace, there is another pool and a bar (adults only). Sunshades, loungers, and beach towels are free of charge.

Guests staying for 4 nights or more receive a credit per night of stay, which can be exchanged for experiences and excursions (valid until 31.10.25).
 
With stays of at least four nights, travelers can rent an e-bike or electric scooter for a whole day free of charge, or, with stays of seven nights or more, participate in a street food tour and visit the Yemen salt pans. For a two-week stay, guests can choose two to three excursions or experiences from a diverse selection, discovering the island and its surroundings without additional cost.
Whether it's a sunset hike, a kayak trip, sport fishing, or a visit to the coffee roastery – a total of 17 options are available.
This included added value for the hotel not only benefits holidaymakers but also sustainably supports young local companies.
