Travel information

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 nights and includes various individual services.
Accommodation on the specified ship (or similar) is provided for seven nights according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day.
Embarkation for the MS Nile Serenity takes place on Sunday.

Notice

Nile combinations are always tied to a beach stay. The cruise during the entire offer period is always one week and without interruption. The stays at the beach hotels may vary. This means that one or more nights can also begin before the Nile cruise.

Embarkation: Saturdays
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.

Day 6:
Morning after breakfast, leisure time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while cruising downstream to Luxor.
Afterwards, opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile cruise ship features a total of 40 beautiful exterior cabins and suites, spread over three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship features a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers a fitness area to keep you active. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle and upper decks.
Also available for single occupancy (EEX).

Suite

The suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with views of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to relax. The suites are located on the main deck, the middle deck, and the upper deck.
Also available for single occupancy (S1).

Economy Cabin

With the same amenities as the Executive Cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar amenities to the Executive Cabin and also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also features a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

Location

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dream vacation destination offering ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to Marsa Alam airport is approx. 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious Adults Only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms features a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include an inviting lobby with reception to make you feel at home from the first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. A main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean cuisine), and various bars provide culinary variety.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around program: Per stay, one visit to the Italian à-la-carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).
The outdoor area features 3 pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the hotel's own beach and by the pools.

Breakfast from 6:30-10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30-9:30 PM, all in buffet style. Snacks for in-between are available throughout the day.
Afternoon tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30-5:30 PM and ice cream from 10 AM-5 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as fresh juice from 10 AM-12 AM.
