Location

The beautifully designed resort is located in the heart of Port Ghalib, directly on a private and expansive sandy beach by the Red Sea. The picturesque coastline, featuring the hotel's own jetty and a large house reef with a vibrant underwater world, provides perfect conditions for snorkeling and diving. The modern Port Ghalib Marina is just a short walk from the resort and offers various shopping options as well as restaurants and bars. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 5 km away.

Facilities

The extensive hotel complex forms a shared facility with the sister hotel "Albatros Oasis Port Ghalib" (RMF073). "Albatros Sands Port Ghalib" features 319 rooms spread across a main building and several annexes. Guests are welcomed in a spacious lobby with a reception area. Five restaurants cater to culinary needs: the buffet restaurant "Souq El Hana" with international cuisine, the à-la-carte restaurant "Cardamom Beach" (by reservation) featuring Mediterranean specialties, "Soprano" with Italian cuisine, the "Lagoon Restaurant", and the à-la-carte "Tagine Restaurant" (by reservation). The culinary offering is complemented by a total of six bars located throughout the grounds.
The vast and beautifully landscaped outdoor area includes a huge pool (heatable in winter), a children's pool, and a saltwater lagoon. The Lazy River and two water slides provide extra water-based fun.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are provided free of charge for guests at the pool and on the beach.
The new Aqua Park offers 8 water slides for adults and 13 slides for children, ensuring fun for all age groups. Additionally, there are two large, heated pools with comfortable sun loungers, allowing guests to enjoy the Aqua Park in any weather. The Aqua Park is exclusively available to guests of the Pickalbatros Palace, Sands, and Oasis Port Ghalib hotels. The park is open from May to October from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, and from November to April from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM, giving guests ample time to make the most of their visit and create lasting memories.

Double Room

The pleasantly furnished Double Rooms (D) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), safe, telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, and a balcony or terrace.
Also available for an extra charge with pool view (PD), sea view (DM), and lagoon view (L2Z), as well as for single occupancy (DE/PDE/DEM/L1Z).

Double Room Deluxe (RMFA43)

The Double Room Deluxe rooms have the same features as the Double Rooms and are bookable with garden view (DD2), facing the beach side (2ST), and in an occupancy of 3 adults with garden view (G3W).

Junior Suite Beach Side (RMFA43)

The Junior Suites have similar furnishings to the Double Rooms but are larger at approx. 56m² and are located on the beach side (JB2).

The Family Rooms with connecting door (FAV) consist of 2 double rooms with a connecting door.

Early-bird breakfast from 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM, breakfast from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM, late-riser breakfast from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM, all served as buffets.
Dinner can be taken in one of the five restaurants. Additionally, a late supper is offered in the "Sofrano" between 10:30 PM – 12:00 AM.
Snacks are offered in the afternoon from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Local alcoholic drinks from 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM. Selected cocktails are already included in the All-Inclusive offer at no extra charge. Local non-alcoholic drinks are available to guests 24 hours a day.
