Location

The attractively designed resort is located in the heart of Port Ghalib, directly on a private and expansive sandy beach on the Red Sea. The picturesque coastline with the hotel's own jetty and the large house reef with its colorful underwater world provide ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. The modern Port Ghalib Marina is just a short walk from the resort and offers various shopping opportunities as well as restaurants and bars. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 5 km away.

Facilities

The large hotel complex forms a combined resort together with the sister hotel "Albatros Oasis Port Ghalib" (RMF073). The "Albatros Sands Port Ghalib" features 319 rooms distributed across a main building and several annexes. Guests are welcomed in a spacious lobby with a reception. Five restaurants cater to culinary needs: the buffet restaurant "Souq El Hana" with international cuisine, the "Cardamom Beach Restaurant" with Mediterranean specialties, "Soprano" with Italian cuisine, the "Lagoon Restaurant," and the "Tagine Restaurant." The culinary offering is complemented by a total of six bars distributed throughout the grounds.
The expansive and beautifully landscaped outdoor area features a huge pool (heatable in winter), a children's pool, and a saltwater lagoon. A lazy river and two water slides provide special water fun.
Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are available to guests free of charge at the pool and on the beach.
The new Aqua Park offers 8 water slides for adults and 13 slides for children, ensuring fun for all age groups. In addition, there are two large, heated pools with comfortable sun loungers so that guests can enjoy the Aqua Park in any weather. The Aqua Park is exclusively available to guests of the Pickalbatros Palace, Sands, and Oasis Port Ghalib hotels. The park is open from May to October from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, and from November to April from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM, giving guests plenty of time to make the most of their visit and create lasting memories.

The friendly furnished double rooms (D) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), safe, telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, and a balcony or terrace.
Available with pool view (PD), sea view (DM), and lagoon view (L2Z) for an extra charge, as well as for single use (DE/PDE/DEM/L1Z).
Also bookable as Type I with limited availability and special pricing (DI).

Double Room Deluxe (RMFA43)

The Deluxe double rooms correspond to the double rooms and are bookable with garden view (DD2), facing the beach side (2ST), and in an occupancy with 3 adults and garden view (G3W).

Junior Suite Beach Side (RMFA43)

The junior suites are similar in equipment to the double rooms, but are larger at approx. 56m² and are oriented towards the beach side (JB2).

The family rooms with connecting door (FAV) consist of 2 double rooms with a connecting door.
Available with lagoon view (LFV) or sea view (MFV) for an extra charge.

Early-bird breakfast from 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM, breakfast from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM, late-riser breakfast from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM, all buffet style.
Dinner can be taken in one of the five restaurants.
Snacks are offered in the afternoon from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Local alcoholic beverages from 10:00 AM – midnight. Selected cocktails are already included in the All-Inclusive offer at no extra charge. Local non-alcoholic beverages are available to guests 24 hours a day.
