Location

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which first opened its doors in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the hotel's own stunning lagoon sandy beach, offering perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates easy access to deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The Schauinsland-Reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and features 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex includes a reception with seating areas and an adjoining outdoor terrace. The outdoor area boasts five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adults-only pool (Oasis Pool), and an island and kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). Dining options include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves international à la carte cuisine until the evening and Italian à la carte cuisine at night. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort features a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

Superior Double Room

The modernly furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 40 sqm) are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, seating area, and balcony. Also available for single occupancy (DEU) and single with child (1DS).

Family Room with Bunk Bed

The family rooms (2FA) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms and include bunk beds.

Family Suite

The rooms (2FS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 50 sqm) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but more spacious (JS2, approx. 55 sqm) and with a seating area. Also available for single use (1YZ).

Junior Pool Suite

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but more spacious (2YZ, approx. 60 sqm), with a small seating area and a terrace with access to a small private pool. Available for single use (1YZ). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Super Saver Room

Same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with a limited contingent and special price (SSZ). Also available for single occupancy (SSE).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites are larger (ES2, approx. 70 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a dressing room, a bathroom with a separate shower, a seating area, and a terrace. Also available as swim-up rooms with direct access to a shared pool (EXG). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Junior Suite Swim Up

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but more spacious (SUJ, approx. 60 sqm). Additionally, these rooms have access to a shared swim-up pool. Also available for single use (SUE). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Deluxe Beach Front Swim-up Suite

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and have a terrace with similar amenities to the double rooms. The rooms are located in close proximity to the beach. Also available with direct access to a private pool for an extra charge (BSD). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 sqm and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms, with otherwise similar amenities, also feature a balcony with a jacuzzi and a sea view.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea as well as various freshly squeezed juices (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM, and late riser breakfast 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM on request), lunch (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM) and dinner (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM) in buffet form. If required, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM international cuisine, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A midnight snack is available for guests from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM in the Boscage Restaurant. Local non-alcoholic beverages are available around the clock at one of the seven different bars (one of the bars is adults only). Local alcoholic beverages are included from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

Imported alcoholic beverages are subject to a charge. Shisha is also available in the evening.

Sports included

An indoor fitness studio with various CrossFit equipment is available to guests free of charge from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The minimum age for the fitness studio is 16 years. Additionally, there is a tennis court (available on request, floodlighting for a fee), beach volleyball, darts, bocce, mini-golf, sunset meditation, water aerobics, and aerobics.

Children's program

For the little holidaymakers, the SUNRISE Kids Planet Club is available (kids club multilingual, including German). It caters to children aged 3-12 years and is open every day of the week. The resort also has a children's pool, a mini disco, and a separate area in the buffet restaurant. Babysitter service is available on request for a fee.

Wellness

The spa area (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM) features a sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and Turkish bath, and also offers various massages. The spa area is accessible for a fee and for guests aged 16 and over. In the beauty salon, guests will find a hairdresser and various beauty treatments such as manicures and pedicures.
