Location

The beautiful resort is located on the coast of the Red Sea in southern Egypt, directly on a 300 m long sandy beach. The hotel complex is located directly in front of the well-known Elphistone Reef and is ideal for divers and snorkelers. The quiet surroundings offer a variety of great spots that provide perfect conditions for experiencing Egypt's colorful and diverse underwater world. A long bathing jetty leads from the beach behind the reef, offering easy access to the open sea. The town of Marsa Alam is approx. 25 km away and has numerous restaurants and shops. The airport of Marsa Alam is approx. 37 km away.

The sprawling Elphistone Resort has a total of 271 elegant rooms spread over three floors, surrounded by lush gardens. The spacious reception hall offers a friendly reception area and seating. For culinary delights, there is the "Red Sea" main restaurant with an open buffet offering a wide selection of international, Egyptian, and Italian cuisine. Additionally, there is the à la carte restaurant "Sea Gull," which serves delicious seafood and fish dishes, as well as the "Pizza Corner" on the beach. Furthermore, a total of three bars offer a selection of refreshing drinks. In the spacious outdoor area, amidst the beautiful garden landscape, there are three swimming pools (one of them heated in winter), an outdoor whirlpool, and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available to guests at the pool and on the beach free of charge.

Double room

The double rooms (D) have approx. 42 m² and feature a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, radio, telephone, Wi-Fi (for a fee), minibar, safe, and a balcony or terrace.
Also available to book with pool view (DP) or sea view (DM) as well as for single use (DE).

Double room Superior Sea View

The Superior Sea View double rooms (DMU) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 46 m²) and have a sea view.
Also available for single use (UME).

Double room Deluxe

The Deluxe double rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located in the first row to the beach and near the Health Club, swimming pool, and dive center.
Also available for single use (DD1).

The family rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are larger (approx. 64 m²) and equipped with an additional sleeping option.

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) are equipped like the double rooms, but with a limited contingent and a special price.

Breakfast from 7-9:30 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM, and dinner from 7-9:30 PM in buffet style at the "Red Sea Restaurant". Dinner at the à la carte restaurant is included once per stay (reservation required).

Tea and cake in the afternoon. Soft drinks, tea, and water from 10 AM, local alcoholic beverages from 10 AM to 11 PM.
Non-alcoholic and local alcoholic beverages are included at the lobby and pool bar from 10 AM to 11 PM, and at the beach bar from 10 AM until sunset.
