Location

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dream holiday destination that offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare species of fish. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to Marsa Alam airport is approximately 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious Adults Only (bookable for guests aged 16 and over) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms features a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include an inviting lobby with a reception, ensuring you feel comfortable from the very first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. Culinary variety is provided by a main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean cuisine), and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around program: one visit per stay to the Italian à-la-carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).
In the outdoor area, there are 3 pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge at the hotel's own beach and at the pools.

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms (DSU) are approx. 30 m², brightly and pleasantly furnished, and feature a shower/WC (bathrobe and slippers included in the Pharao Club), hairdryer, air conditioning (individually adjustable), telephone, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), safe, coffee and tea maker, smoke detector, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the garden.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) feature the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but are slightly larger (approx. 34 m²) and equipped with additional sofa beds.

Superior Double Room with Guaranteed Sea View (Upper Floors)

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single occupancy (XO1).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 42 m² and feature a bath or shower/WC, a spacious bedroom, and a separate living area (separated by a door). The Junior Suites have a pool or sea view.

All Inclusive (Pharao Club)

Breakfast from 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM, all buffet style. During the day, there are various snacks for small appetites in between.
Afternoon tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM and ice cream from 10 AM - 5 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as fresh juice from 10 AM - 12 AM. "Pharao Club" guests have 1 dinner per stay included in an à-la-carte restaurant (in the "Fayruz"), registration required. Fruit basket upon arrival. Furthermore, one bottle of water per day (2 bottles in the family room) is included as well as coffee and tea. Beach towels are changed daily, free use of the health club.
The "Pharao Club" is included in All Inclusive.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner. Men are kindly asked to wear long trousers and no beach footwear. Women are requested not to wear tops.
Dine around in Madinat Coraya for a fee: "Zaytoun" = Oriental, "Rocca" = Asian, "Basilico" = Italian, and "Fayruz" = Mediterranean (subject to availability and with reservation).
