The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its turtle population and has a house reef inviting snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites, spread throughout the complex. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and has been generously conceived. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and has a reception with various seating areas and a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sunbeds and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge in the pool area and on the private beach, and bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Adjacent to this is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Superior Double Room

The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also bookable for single occupancy (DSP), with side sea view (DSS) and sea view (DMU).

Superior Double Room with Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Premium Swim-up Double Room

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms and have the same features as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP Treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) are larger than the Superior Double Rooms (approx. 56m²) with the same amenities and are suitable for families due to their features (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Optionally also bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2) or as a swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² in size and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a spacious terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Superior Double Room Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7 AM - 10 AM), lunch (12:30 PM - 2:30 PM), and dinner (7 PM - 10 PM) in buffet form. There is also a late riser breakfast from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, two à la carte restaurants are available (reservations required), included once per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but for a fee thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Tea time is available from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer various refreshments and snacks during the day, such as "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
Men must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no muscle shirts, tank tops, or shorts of any length.
While shorts are acceptable for women at dinner, hot pants and very short shorts are not.
