Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.

At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon flight is possible (optionally bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.

Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Once arrived, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small gym that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) feature the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise feature the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sections „True Beach Resort“ (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arabic boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam and lies on a dreamlike section of coast with an offshore bay with crystal-clear water in the first beach row. Offshore corals invite you to snorkel. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen Original Hotel was built in a classy Bohemian style, paired with modern Arabic accents, and thus offers a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections, the "True Beach Resort", which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" as an adults-only area, which is bookable from age 16. The complex has a total of 158 rooms distributed across both sections and offers a spacious lobby area with a reception desk as well as a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating in the indoor and outdoor areas (located in the resort). On the first floor of the lobby is a rooftop bar "Sama Bar". The village area of the resort (adults-only) is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that lead through the entire complex and are also the pools for the swim-up rooms, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heatable). In the middle of the pool landscape, the pool bar "Scarab Bar" as well as the Oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge await you. Guests of the village section also have a Greek restaurant "ILIOS" and an Asian restaurant "NORI", both located on the beach, at their disposal. On the beach, guests can also expect the bars "ILIOS Bar" and "Salt Bar". Furthermore, guests of the village section have the main restaurant "El Manzil" as well as the fish restaurant "Ritsa" (both located in the resort area) at their disposal. The resort area has two spacious pools as well as a whirlpool that is integrated into the main pool (main pool heatable in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. Furthermore, the complex features the pool bar "Maya", a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, as well as various shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. Guests of the village section may use both sections, but not the other way around. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

Alternatively, guests also have a daily à-la-carte breakfast available in the village area (adult only) in the Greek restaurant.
Snacks are offered from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. in the outdoor area. Tea time from 3-4 p.m. with cake and fine pastries in the lobby bar. Sports included

Fitness room with a range of different sports equipment (cardio and strength equipment, from age 16, open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.). Furthermore, volleyball court on the beach as well as daily animation/sports program (e.g., yoga classes on the beach).
