Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Saturdays
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast visit to Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Morning after breakfast at leisure. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while cruising downstream to Luxor.
Afterwards, opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Day 7:
At 5 AM excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak Temple, and the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-Star Nile ship has a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites, spread over three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship has a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers the opportunity to stay fit in the fitness area. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with a breathtaking view of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² in size and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (EEX).

Suite

The suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the main deck, the middle deck, and the upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (S1).

Economy Cabin

With the same equipment as the Executive Cabins, but somewhat smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar equipment elements as the Executive Cabin and are also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also has a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

The spacious resort is located directly on its own sand/pebble beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport.
The gently sloping beach offers you the possibility for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, a long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex has a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan"-oriental, "Soprano Restaurant"- international cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant ("Shell Fish"-seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants, various bars, and a café, The Bakery.
In the spacious outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which are heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heated in winter) offers fun for young and old.

The Beachfront Sea View rooms are located directly on the beach with a view of the sea.

Family Room Deluxe Garden View

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 m²) consist of a bedroom with a king-size bed, a bedroom with single beds, and a sofa bed and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), electric kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.

Royal Suite Swim Up Pool View

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approx. 105 m² and have a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, electric kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and terrace with direct access to the shared swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
(Additional contingent bookable under RMFA49 as Royal Suite Type B (RZ3)).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for security reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Junior Suite Panoramic Sea View

The spacious Junior Suites Panoramic Sea View (J2M, approx. 52 m²) offer an impressive panoramic view of the Red Sea and the extensive resort complex due to their elevated location. The tastefully furnished suites have a combined living and sleeping area with a king-size bed, seating area, and dressing area.
