Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum (3) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
After breakfast in the morning, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
After breakfast in the morning, visit to the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
After breakfast in the morning, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).

Opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus in the early morning at 3:30 AM (2,3), breakfast box included.

After breakfast in the morning, free time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while sailing downstream to Luxor.
Then opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship has a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites spread across three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. The luxurious ship also has a main restaurant, a reception, a lounge bar, and a small bazaar. The ship also offers the opportunity to stay fit in the fitness area. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the Nile. Bath towels are provided free of charge for guests.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle and upper decks.

Suite

The Suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a Nile view is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The Suites are located on the Main Deck, Middle Deck, and Upper Deck.

Saver Cabin

With the same amenities as the Executive Cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar amenities to the Executive Cabin and also feature a balcony of approx. 4 m². They also have a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

Location

The spacious family resort from the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain will make the hearts of water lovers, young and old, beat faster. You will spend a relaxing holiday in a quiet environment at Albatros Sea World. A direct access leads to the hotel's own 500 m long sandy beach. The beautiful house reef offers the best conditions for exploring the fascinating underwater world. Marsa Alam airport is about 60 km away.

The extensive hotel has a total of 950 rooms spread across many small buildings. The generously laid-out garden complex features a total of 25 pools (two of which are heated in winter), a heated children's pool, and its own aqua park for all ages. Facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception and comfortable seating areas, as well as a shopping arcade with numerous shops inviting you to browse. The hotel's six restaurants offer a variety of culinary specialties. These include the Oriental main restaurant "Saffron" and four à la carte specialty restaurants that can be used without reservation ("Soprano" – Italian, "Zum Kaiser" – German, and "L’Asiatique" – Asian, "Culina" – Mediterranean restaurant). There is also an international à la carte restaurant in the food court (included once per stay, reservation required). The offer is complemented by various cafes and bars. The Family Rooms (FP2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 70 m²). There are beds for the children, which are visually separated by a sliding door.

The newly built Double Rooms Deluxe Pool View (D2P) are luxuriously furnished and are approx. 53 m². Otherwise, the amenities are similar to those in the double rooms. The modern rooms also feature a balcony or terrace with pool view.

Deluxe Suite Pool View

The spacious Deluxe Suites are newly built and modern. With the same amenities as the double rooms, the rooms are larger (approx. 65 m²) and additionally have a separate area for parents and one for children. The suites feature a balcony or terrace with pool view.
