Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue cruise to Aswan. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.

Day 6:
Morning after breakfast, free time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while cruising downstream to Luxor.
Afterwards, opportunity for a Sound and Light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship has a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites spread across three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship features a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers opportunities to keep fit in the fitness area. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the Nile. Towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² in size and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle deck and upper deck.

Suite

The Suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but are larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the main deck, the middle deck, and the upper deck.

Economy Cabin

Same facilities as the Executive Cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) have similar features to the Executive Cabin but are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) and also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also features a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

The sprawling hotel has a total of 950 rooms, spread across many small buildings. In the spacious garden area, there are a total of 25 pools (four of which can be heated in winter), a heated children's pool, and a private aqua park for young and old. The facilities include an inviting lobby with a reception and comfortable seating areas, as well as a shopping arcade with numerous shops that invite you to browse. The six restaurants of the hotel offer a multitude of culinary specialties. These include the oriental main restaurant "East&West" as well as four specialty restaurants that can be used without reservation ("Soprano" – Italian, "Zum Kaiser" – German, "L’Asiatique" – Asian, "Culina" – Mediterranean). In addition, there is an international à la carte restaurant in the food court (included once per stay, reservation necessary). The offering is complemented by various cafés and bars. For a small snack in between, there is a snack bar on the beach. The schauinsland-reisen-original rooms (BF2) have the same features as the double rooms and are located directly on the beach with a view of the sea.

The junior suites (J2P) are approx. 60 m² in size and have the same features as the double rooms but include an additional open-plan living area and have a pool view.

The newly built double rooms Deluxe pool view (D2P) are luxuriously furnished and approx. 53 m² in size. Otherwise, the features are similar to the double rooms. The modern rooms also have a balcony or terrace with pool view.

Deluxe suite pool view

The spacious deluxe suites are newly built and modern. With the same features as the double rooms, these rooms are larger (approx. 65 m²) and have a separate area for parents and children. The suites have a balcony or terrace with pool view.
