Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Notice

The travel package you have selected is for 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and harbor are included.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, proceed to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arriving in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited there (1,2,3).
Continue sailing towards Aswan. Dinner on board during the journey.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.
Then, an opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).

In the early morning at 3:30 AM, there is an opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.

Continue sailing to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 7:

Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).

Location

The True Beach Resort, consisting of the sections "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, fully renovated) and True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arabic Boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam on a stunning coastline with a bay featuring crystal-clear water in the first row to the beach. Offshore coral reefs invite snorkeling (swim shoes recommended). Marsa Alam airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style combined with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections: the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an adult-only area, open to guests aged 16 and over. The complex has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sections, featuring a spacious reception area with a reception desk and the "True Lobby Bar" with seating indoors and outdoors. The resort area offers two generous pools and a jacuzzi integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, provides chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a splash pool with various water features are located next to the kids' club and the adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style; additionally, the beachfront fish restaurant "Ritsa" is included once per stay. The three à la carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the Village area and are available for a fee (adults only, reservation required). Furthermore, the complex has a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available for a fee), a theater offering various evening entertainment programs, a beach bar, and several shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The Village area is surrounded by a generous water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool with a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you'll find a pool bar "Scarab Bar," the oriental restaurant "El Tawla," and a chaise lounge. Two more bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" Bar, are directly on the beach in the Village area. Guests of the Village area can use both sections, but not vice versa. Loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

In addition to the amenities of the Double Rooms Superior Sea View, the room (UMB) offers the following:
