Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days in accordance with the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
In the morning at 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Afterward, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Kom Ombo Temple can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue toward Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.

Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The newly opened JAZ Amara Resort (December 2023) is situated on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first beach row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly well-known for its turtle population and features a house reef that invites guests to snorkel and dive. Your vacation home is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam airport. Various shopping options with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (approximately 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly constructed hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the entire property. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your vacation resort surprises with a very appealing, elegant design and has been designed very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and features a reception desk with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that runs through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge in the pool area as well as on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the facility has a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

Superior Double Room Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and feature sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel and thus offer a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Superior Swim-up Double Room Advantage Room

The Superior Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) have the same features as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also have the following amenities exclusive to Schauinsland-Reisen:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms

Double Deluxe

The Double Deluxe (DD2) are larger (approx. 56m²) with the same equipment as the Superior Double Rooms and, due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area), are suitable for families. Optionally bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

The main restaurant “Marasi Restaurant” offers international cuisine for breakfast (07-10 a.m.), lunch (12:30-02:30 p.m.), and dinner (07-10 p.m.) buffet-style. Furthermore, a late-riser breakfast is available there from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. In addition, guests have access to two à la carte restaurants (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are for a fee afterward: “Tao Tao” restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant “Bay View” offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine. Tea time is offered from 12:30 p.m. to 05 p.m. Various bars offer various refreshments and snacks during the day, such as “La Vista Pool Snack Bar” (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), “Splash Pool Bar,” “Fantasia Lobby Bar,” as well as “Bay View Beach Bar” (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
