Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursday. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A hot air balloon ride can be booked in the morning at 5 a.m. (optional, only bookable on site).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, tour of the West Bank including the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight on board.
3rd Day:
Breakfast on board. Then, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arriving in Kom Ombo, the Kom Ombo Temple can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue journey towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Aswan.
4th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterward, opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
5th Day:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3); a breakfast package is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Continue journey to Esna.
6th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Continue journey to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
7th Day:

Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).

The JAZ Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first beach row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for its turtle population and features a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday domicile is located approximately 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping opportunities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the entire complex. This includes various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and Swim-Up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, elegant design and was designed very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort as well as the bay and has a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that runs through the facility. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heatable in winter). Sun loungers and sun umbrellas are available to guests free of charge in the pool area as well as at the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida-Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à-la-carte restaurants, and various bars are available to you.

Superior Premium Double Room

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen-Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior double rooms and feature sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Superior Swim-up Double Room Special

The Superior Swim-up double rooms (DWP) have the same features as the Superior double rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also have the following exclusive amenities at Schauinsland-Reisen:

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe double rooms (DD2) are larger (approx. 56m²) with the same amenities as the Superior double rooms and are suitable for families due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Optionally bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as Swim-Up (DWU).

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. In addition, the Executive Suites have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (07-10 a.m.), lunch (12:30-02:30 p.m.), and dinner (07-10 p.m.) in buffet form. A late-riser breakfast is also available there from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. In addition, two à-la-carte restaurants are available to guests (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are available for a fee afterward: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à-la-carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine.
