Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon flight can be booked in the morning at 5 AM (optional, only bookable on site).
Breakfast on board. Then, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Afterwards, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited there (1,2,3).
Continue towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.
Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3); breakfast box is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Continue to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board.
Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).
Day 8:
Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The facilities are complemented by a reading corner and a lounge bar. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. Furthermore, there is a billiard room on board. You can relax and enjoy your holiday on the spacious sun deck with pool and bar.

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the JAZ Costa Mares hotel belongs to the renowned JAZ hotel group. The offshore coral reef offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the most famous spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment options is approx. 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only about 8 km.

The modern hotel complex (Adults-only; bookable from 16 years of age) has a total of 208 rooms, distributed between the main building and annexes. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with reception, a fitness center, various shops, and a spa area. A buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à-la-carte restaurants provide for your culinary needs. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties; the "Sands" is located on the beach and offers international cuisine (with a minimum stay of 7 nights, both restaurants are included once per week - subject to availability, reservation required) as well as several bars.
In the well-kept grounds, there is a swimming pool (heatable in winter).

The Junior suites Sea view (J2M) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms, but larger (120 m²) and have a direct sea view.

Deluxe Family room Pool or Sea view

The Deluxe Family rooms Pool or Sea view (FMD) have the same features as the Double Superior Bay View rooms, but are larger (approx. 45 m²).
The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Deluxe Family room Bay View

The Deluxe Family rooms Bay View (BDV) are approx. 46 m² in size and consist of 2 rooms with a connecting door, with a garden or beach view, otherwise having the same features as the Double Superior rooms.
