Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride can be booked in the morning at 5 a.m. (optional, only bookable locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue toward Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterward, opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3); a breakfast box is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Continue to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board.
Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).
Day 8:
Departure.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your physical well-being. Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the JAZ Costa Mares hotel is part of the renowned JAZ hotel group. The offshore coral reef offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the most famous spots for diving with dugongs and sea turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment options is located approx. 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only about 8 km.

The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with reception, a gym, various shops, and a spa area. A buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à-la-carte restaurants cater to your culinary needs. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties, and the "Sands" is located on the beach and offers international cuisine (with a minimum stay of 7 nights, both restaurants are included once per week - subject to availability - reservation required) as well as several bars.

Deluxe Family Room Pool or Sea View

The Deluxe family rooms with pool or sea view (FMD) are the same size/facilities as the Superior Bay View doubles, but larger (approx. 45 m²).
