Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning at 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, visit the West Bank with the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arriving in Kom Ombo, you can visit the Kom Ombo Temple there (1,2,3).
Continue toward Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterward, opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Continue to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board.
Visit to the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).
Day 8:
Departure.

Location

Situated in a slightly elevated position above the beach bay of Madinat Coraya is the JAZ Lamaya Hotel. The beautiful, intact house reef with corals, some of which reach to the shore, offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. Access to the sea is about 150 m away from the hotel. A jetty leads directly into the water from the hotel. Numerous shops, bars, and a beautiful promenade are located in the idyllic harbor town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is about 8 km.

This hotel complex was specially designed for a relaxing family vacation. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in a Moorish-Oriental style and has a total of 389 rooms, distributed across a main building and several two- and three-story residential buildings. The hotel features a stylish lobby with reception and seating areas, a main restaurant with a non-smoking zone, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar, and an amphitheater. The expansive outdoor grounds include a spacious pool landscape with four swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) with a separate children's pool (heated in winter), a hangout area, and a beach/pool bar, as well as a new food court at the beach with snacks, drinks, and desserts.
