Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary:
1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A hot air balloon ride can be booked in the morning at 5 AM (optional, only bookable on site).
Breakfast on board. Then, visit the West Bank including the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, continue towards Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Breakfast on board. Then, continue towards Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arriving in Kom Ombo, you can visit the Temple of Kom Ombo (1,2,3).
Continue the journey towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Continue the journey to Esna.
6th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.
7th Day:
Breakfast on board.
Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).
8th Day:
Departure.

The ship features a welcoming reception area and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious meals to satisfy your appetite. The JAZ Lamaya Hotel is located in a slightly elevated position overlooking the Madinat Coraya beach bay. The beautiful, intact house reef with corals that reach almost to the shore offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. Access to the sea is approximately 150m from the hotel. A jetty leads directly from the hotel into the water. Numerous shops, bars, and a beautiful promenade are located in the idyllic harbor town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

This hotel complex was specially designed for a relaxing family holiday. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in a Moorish-oriental style and has a total of 389 rooms, distributed between a main building and several two- and three-story residential buildings. The hotel features a stylish lobby with a reception area and seating, a main restaurant with a non-smoking zone, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar, and an amphitheater. The expansive outdoor area includes a generously designed pool landscape with four swimming pools (three of which can be heated in winter), a separate children's pool (heated in winter), a hangout area, and a beach/pool bar, as well as a new food court on the beach offering snacks, drinks, and desserts.
