Travel information

Combined package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depend on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, travel to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like standard cabins but are located on lower decks and have a small circular window.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

This beautiful resort from the renowned Three Corners hotel chain is located on the beachfront, directly along a roughly 1 km long sandy beach with its own house reef. Enjoy the Egyptian sun on the fine sandy beach or experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling. A jetty over 350 m long offers easy access to the sea and the untouched parts of the coral reef. About 2 km away is "Port Ghalib", a small harbor village with various shopping and entertainment options as well as a harbor promenade that invites you to stroll. The Marsa Alam airport is only about 10 km away.

Facilities

The Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort complex consists of a large, friendly main building and several one- and two-story annexes with a total of 495 rooms. The main building houses the spacious lobby with a reception. A selection of culinary specialties is offered by the main restaurant "Panorama" with a pool view, the Belgian à-la-carte restaurant "Chez Pascal" (for a fee), the Italian à-la-carte restaurant "Dolce Vita", and the oriental "Marhaba Restaurant" (reservation required), as well as various bars. The hotel offer is rounded off by a bazaar, an apothecary, and a hairdresser.
In the spacious garden, there are two swimming pools (heatable in winter), one of which has a separate children's pool. In the newly built part of the complex is the "Dolphin Pool" with the "Dolphin Bar". At the hotel's own beach and at the pools, bath towels, sun loungers, and umbrellas are available free of charge.

Premium rooms

The comfortably furnished premium rooms (PDZ) with twin beds or a king-size bed (approx. 28 m²) have a shower/WC, air conditioning, safe, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, mini-fridge (contents for a fee), and a balcony or terrace. The premium rooms offer garden, pool, or partial sea views.
Also bookable for single use (PEZ) for an extra charge.

Family rooms

The family rooms (DF2) consist of one room (approx. 32 m²) with the same equipment as the premium rooms, which can be separated into two sleeping areas by a sliding door. In addition to air conditioning, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, and minibar (contents for a fee), they also have a bathroom with WC/shower. The rooms are located on the ground floor in the main building, have garden or mountain views, and feature a terrace.

Double Room Premium Grand (RMFA05):

The Double Rooms Premium Grand (bookable from winter 2025) are approx. 32 m² in size and feature a sliding door, allowing the room to be divided into two separate sleeping areas. These rooms are also located on the ground floor (GD2).
