Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to Hatshepsut's Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then sails to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the option to visit the East Bank with Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers ample loungers for relaxation, as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks available for a fee.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with belly dancers, Galabeya parties, folklore shows, and a night disco.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same furnishings as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

Booking information: Please note that for flights to/from Hurghada or Marsa Alam, at least one overnight stay in a hotel is required before or after the Nile cruise.

Location

The extensive resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/gravel beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport.
The gently sloping beach allows for a relaxing beach holiday. Alternatively, the long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can explore the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex features a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - Oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - International cuisine), an à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants, and various bars and a café, The Bakery. In the extensive outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which can be heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heated in winter) offers fun for all ages. Sun loungers, umbrellas, cushions, and towels are available free of charge at the pool and beach. Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

The Beachfront Sea View rooms (BF2, approx. 42-45 m²) are spacious and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and terrace or balcony. The Beachfront Sea View rooms are located directly on the beach with a view of the sea.

Double Superior Room

The modern Double Superior rooms (DSU, approx. 42-45m²) are equipped with a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace. Double Superior rooms with pool view (DSP) or sea view (DMU) are also available at an extra charge. Family Room Deluxe Garden View

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 m²) consist of a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bedroom with single beds and a sofa bed, and are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace. Family rooms with pool view (XF2) are also available at an extra charge.

Royal Suite Swim Up Pool View

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approx. 105 m² and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a terrace with direct access to the shared swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
