Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be used.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The stay at the hotel before and after the cruise depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak Temple, and the Luxor Temple (1, 2, 3).

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sub-areas "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The facility, designed in an Arabian boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam and sits on a dreamlike coastal section with a bay in front of it with crystal-clear water in the first beach row. Off-shore corals invite you to snorkel (swim shoes recommended). The Marsa Alam airport is approximately 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen Original hotel was built in a classy Bohemian style, paired with modern Arabian accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star facility consists of two sub-areas: the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an adult-only area, which can be booked from age 16. The facility has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sub-areas and offers a spacious reception area with a front desk, as well as a "True Lobby Bar" with seating inside and outside. The resort area has two spacious pools as well as a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heatable in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a children's splash pool with various water games are located next to the mini-club and the adjacent playground with a sun canopy. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form; in addition, the fish restaurant "Ritsa" located on the beach is included once per stay. The three à-la-carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the village area and are available for a fee (adult only, reservation required). Furthermore, the facility has a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available for a fee), a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar, as well as various shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that lead through the entire facility, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heatable). In the middle of the pool landscape, a pool bar "Scarab Bar" awaits you, as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge. Two additional bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" bar, are available directly on the beach in the village area. Guests of the village area are allowed to use both sub-areas, but not vice versa. The friendly furnished superior double rooms (DSU) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (filled upon arrival with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water; water is refilled daily), water heater and safe, seating area, and terrace, and are approx. 47 m² in size.
