Travel Information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Boarding always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to boarding is mandatory. The next available boarding date will always be taken.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continuing journey from Esna.

Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Travel to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship has a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

True Beach Resort

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sections "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, fully renovated) and True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arabian boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam on a dreamlike stretch of coastline with a bay in front featuring crystal-clear water, directly on the beach. Coral reefs offshore invite snorkeling (swimming shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in an elegant bohemian style, combined with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an adults-only area, bookable for ages 16 and above. The complex has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sections and offers a spacious reception area with a reception desk and a lobby bar “True Lobby Bar” with seating indoors and outdoors. The resort area has two spacious pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a splash pool with various water games are located next to the kids' club and the adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant “El Manzil” offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style; additionally, the beachfront fish restaurant “Ritsa” is included once per stay. The three à la carte restaurants “El Tawla” (oriental), “NORI” (asian fusion), and “ILIOS” (Greek) are located in the Village area and are available for a fee (adults only, reservation required). Furthermore, the complex features a pool bar “Maya,” a rooftop bar “Sama Bar” (shisha available, for a fee), a theater offering various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar, and various shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The Village area is surrounded by a generous water landscape and offers a total of 4 main pools that run through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool offering a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, a pool bar “Scarab Bar” awaits you, as well as the oriental restaurant “El Tawla” and a chaise lounge. Two further bars, “Salt Bar” and “ILIOS” Bar, are directly on the beach in the Village area. Guests of the Village area can use both sections, but not vice versa. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

Superior Double Room

The tastefully decorated Superior Double Rooms (DSU) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked on arrival with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water, water is refilled daily), kettle and safe, seating area, and terrace, and are approx. 47 m² in size. Also available as Type I (DSI) with the same amenities, limited availability, and special price. Can also be booked for single occupancy (DEU). Optionally available with partial sea view (D2S/S1S) or direct sea view (DMU/EMU, as Type I DMI). Available as swim-up rooms under RMF444.

Upgrade Superior Double Room Sea View

The room (UMB) has the same amenities as the Superior Double Room Sea View, plus the following additional features:
- Fruit basket on arrival
- Bottle of wine in the room
- 10% discount on treatments in the hotel's spa area
