Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes place for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continuing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sub-areas „True Beach Resort“ (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. Designed in an Arabic boho style, the resort is located south of Marsa Alam and lies on a stunning stretch of coast with a bay in front, crystal-clear water, and in the first beach row. Offshore corals invite you to go snorkeling (water shoes recommended). The Marsa Alam airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Amenities

The schauinsland-reisen Original hotel was built in an elegant bohemian style, paired with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star resort consists of two areas: the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444), an adult-only area bookable from 16 years. The property has a total of 158 rooms distributed across both areas and offers a spacious reception area with a lobby bar ("True Lobby Bar") with seating indoors and outdoors. The resort area has two spacious pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, reached by a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with sun loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a kids' splash pool with various water features are located next to the mini-club and the adjacent playground with a sun canopy. The main restaurant, "El Manzil," offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style; in addition, the fish restaurant "Ritsa" located on the beach is included once per stay. The three à la carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the village area and are available for a fee (adult only, reservation required). Furthermore, the resort features a pool bar ("Maya"), a rooftop bar ("Sama Bar", shisha available for a fee), a theater offering various evening entertainment programs, a beach bar, as well as various shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run through the entire area, as well as an infinity pool offering a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find a pool bar ("Scarab Bar"), the oriental restaurant "El Tawla," and a chaise lounge. Two further bars, the "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" bar directly on the beach, are available in the village area. Guests of the village area are allowed to use both areas, but not vice-versa. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

The comfortably furnished superior double rooms (DSU) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (filled upon arrival with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water, water is replenished daily), kettle, safe, sitting area, and terrace, and are approx. 47 m² in size. Upgrade Superior double room sea view
