Travel information

Combo package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days as per the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak as well as the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight on board.
5th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
6th Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
7th Day:

Facilities

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your dining pleasure. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The modern and stylish JAZ Elite Maraya is located in a fantastic location right by the sea, in the idyllic Madinat Coraya. Here you can spend a relaxing holiday where rest and family fun can be easily balanced. The sandy beach in the elongated bathing bay is just a few minutes' walk away (beach section of the adjacent hotel JAZ Solaya). The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only approx. 5 km.

Facilities

The "JAZ Elite Maraya" hotel complex was completely newly built in 2018/19 and opened for the 2019 summer season.
The modern hotel in a stylish ambiance with a total of 202 rooms offers a great variety of activities for families with children and is therefore perfect for a relaxing and restorative holiday in Egypt.
Children can enjoy the large Splash Kids Pool with fun water features and an octopus slide, build sandcastles in the sand playground, or spend eventful hours in the beautiful Kids Club. For letting off steam, there is climbing or soccer on the large outdoor playground.
In the family area, parents and children can rest together and recharge their batteries. A main pool (heatable in winter) is available to all guests. International and local cuisine is offered in the main restaurant in varied buffets. For the little guests, there is a kids' buffet. A special culinary highlight is a visit to one of the three specialty restaurants "Nino's" and "Sofra" for lovers of Italian and oriental cuisine, as well as "MoMo" for lovers of Asian cuisine (subject to availability and with prior reservation).
Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pools and on the beach.

Superior family room

The superior family rooms (DF2) feature the same amenities as the superior doubles, but are larger (approx. 52 m²) and include a living/sleeping area for the children as well as a bedroom for the parents, separated by a door.
Also bookable as a superior family room on the sea side (FY2) or with pool view (FUP).

Katta family room

With similar features to the family rooms, but decorated in the popular Katta style (KWF), these rooms will make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms have 2 rooms with a connecting door to the parent's bedroom and are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.
Also bookable as a Katta family room on the sea side (KWS) for an additional charge or as a Katta superior family room with pool view (KPW).

Deluxe family room

The deluxe family rooms (2DF) have the same features as the superior family rooms, but are even more spacious (63 m²) and additionally equipped with a cozy seating area.
Also bookable with pool view (FPD), sea view (F2D), or on the sea side (FXD).

Katta deluxe family room

With similar features to the deluxe family rooms, but decorated in the popular Katta style (KWD), these rooms will make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.

Deluxe family room type A

Same features as the deluxe family room, but bookable for 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot. (ADF)
Optionally also bookable on the sea side (FXA).

Katta's deluxe family room type A (KWA)

With the same features as the Katta's deluxe family rooms, but bookable for 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot.

Family junior suite with sea view

With the same features as the deluxe family rooms (2FJ, approx. 86 m²), the suite features a private pool and sea view.

Breakfast from 7-10 a.m., lunch from 12:30-2:30 p.m., and dinner from 6:30-9 p.m. in buffet form in the main restaurant with its own kids' corner for the little guests and various theme evenings. Late-riser breakfast from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the pool bar. Dinner in the à-la-carte restaurant "Sea Horse" (prior reservation required) or Dine Around (1x per stay included) in the Italian or Oriental restaurant (subject to availability and with prior reservation).
Afternoon snacks and ice cream for children at the pool and beach bar. Coffee and cake are prepared and served in various variations in the afternoon. The food court of the Madinat Coraya offers snacks, soft drinks, and desserts at the beach from 12-4 p.m.
