Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Continuing the journey from Esna.
Then on to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

5. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Steigenberger Resort Alaya

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is possible via a jetty. From here, the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya can be discovered. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only approx. 5 km away from Marsa Alam airport.

Amenities

The beautiful adults-only complex (bookable for ages 16 and up) features 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious reception area offers guests a reception and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel features a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. For the physical well-being of guests, there is a main restaurant and four à la carte restaurants ("Basilico" - Italian, "Rocca" - Asian, "Zaytoun" - Oriental, "Mashawi" - Seafood), which will indulge you with delicious dishes. You can get a wide selection of drinks at the various bars.
In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five spacious pools (partly heatable in winter) and inviting sun terraces.
Sun loungers, parasols, and towels are free of charge by the pool and at the beach.

The Royal Suites (RSM) are luxuriously furnished and have the same amenity elements as the double rooms. The Royal Suite is approx. 160 m² and is additionally equipped with 2 bathrooms with bathtub, Jacuzzi, living area, sleeping area, and features a terrace with a private pool.

Superior Double Room

The comfortably furnished Superior Double rooms (DSU) are 40 m², feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, LED TV, safe, telephone (for a fee), balcony, and garden view.
