Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be used.

Day 1:
Arrival and boarding. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional balloon excursion (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner as a buffet. Drinks for a fee.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Saver Cabins

The saver cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is via a jetty. From here, the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya can be discovered. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only approx. 5 km from Marsa Alam airport.

Facilities

The beautiful adults-only resort (bookable for ages 16 and over) has 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious reception area offers guests a reception and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. For the culinary well-being of the guests, there is a main restaurant and four à la carte restaurants ("Basilico"-Italian, "Rocca"- Asian, "Zaytoun" Oriental, "Mashawi"- Seafood), which spoil you with delicious dishes. The various bars offer a wide selection of drinks.
In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five generously designed pools (partially heated in winter) and inviting sun terraces.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Royal Suite Sea View Private Pool

The Royal Suites (RSM) are luxuriously furnished and have the same amenities as the double rooms. The Royal Suite is approx. 160 m² and is additionally equipped with 2 bathrooms with bathtub, jacuzzi, living area, sleeping area, and a terrace with a private pool.

Superior Double Room

The comfortably furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) are 40 m² and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, LED TV, safe, telephone (for a fee), balcony, and garden view.
Available at an additional charge with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), or sea view (DMU), as well as for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Superior Double Room Swim Up

The Superior Double Swim Up rooms (DWP) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are slightly more spacious (approx. 50 m²), and have direct access to the pool from the terrace.
Also available for single occupancy at an additional charge (EWP).

Deluxe Double Room Sea View

The Deluxe Double Rooms Sea View (DM2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are more spacious (approx. 70 m²), and additionally have a dressing room and a balcony.

Deluxe Double Room Swim-Up

The Deluxe Double Swim Up rooms (DWU) are bookable as Schauinsland-original rooms. The rooms have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are more spacious (approx. 70 m²) and have private access to the sharing pool.
Also available with sea view (DWS) and for single occupancy (WU1/EWS).

Premium Deluxe Double Room Swim Up

The Premium Deluxe Double Swim Up rooms (PWS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are more spacious (approx. 75 m²), with a private indoor jacuzzi and access to the communal pool.
Also available with sea view at an additional charge (DUM).

The Premium Deluxe Double Rooms Sea View are similar in amenities to the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger at approx. 75m² and have sea views (P2M).
