Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. Boarding will always be the next available option.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and boarding. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional balloon excursion (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continued sailing from Esna.
Then, continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.

Day 5:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. The offer is complemented by cozy lounge bars. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sq m and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sq m) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The generously designed family resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain will make the hearts of water lovers, young and old, beat faster. Enjoy a relaxing holiday in a quiet environment at Albatros Sea World. A direct access leads to the hotel's own 500 m long sandy beach. The beautiful house reef offers the best conditions for exploring the fascinating underwater world. Marsa Alam Airport is about 60 km away.

Facilities

The extensive hotel has a total of 950 rooms spread across many small buildings. The generously designed garden complex features a total of 25 pools (two of which are heated in winter), a heated children's pool, and its own aqua park for all ages. Facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception and comfortable seating areas, as well as a shopping arcade with numerous shops. The hotel's six restaurants offer a variety of culinary specialties, including the oriental main restaurant "Saffron" and four specialty restaurants accessible without reservation ("Soprano" - Italian, "Zum Kaiser" - German, and "L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Culina" - Mediterranean restaurant). There is also an international à la carte restaurant in the food court (included once per stay, reservation required). The offer is complemented by various cafes and bars. Two snack bars on the beach cater to light hunger. The Aqua Park features 12 slides for adults, two pools with 12 slides and water games for children, as well as various pools and diverse sports and animation programs. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

The Junior Suites (J2P) are approx. 60 sq m and have the same amenities as the double rooms, but with an additional open living area and pool view.

The Super Economy Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the double rooms but with garden view and not always preferred location, as well as limited availability and a special price.

Family Room Pool View

The Family Rooms (FP2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 70 sq m). There are beds for children, which are visually separated by a sliding door.

Deluxe Double Room Pool View

The newly built Deluxe Double Rooms with Pool View (D2P) are luxuriously furnished and have a size of approx. 53 sq m. The amenities are otherwise similar to the double rooms. The modern rooms also have a balcony or terrace with pool view.

The spacious Deluxe Suites are newly built and modern. With the same amenities as the double rooms, the rooms are larger (approx. 65 sq m) and additionally have a separate area for parents and one for children. The suites have a balcony or terrace with pool view.

Superior Double Room (RMFA30)

The Superior Double Rooms have a bath or shower/WC, air conditioning, TV, safe, hairdryer, telephone, and garden view (DSU).

Deluxe Double Room Garden View (RMFA30)
