Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days in accordance with the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue journey from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue journey to Esna and visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The JAZ Lamaya Hotel is located in a slightly elevated position above the beach bay of Madinat Coraya. The beautiful, intact house reef with corals that reach up to the shore provides ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. Access to the sea is about 150 m away from the hotel. A jetty leads directly into the water at the hotel. Numerous shops, bars, and a beautiful promenade are located in the idyllic port town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to Marsa Alam Airport is about 8 km.

Facilities

This hotel complex was specifically designed for a relaxing family holiday. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in a Moorish-oriental style and has a total of 389 rooms, distributed across a main building and several two- and three-story residential buildings. The hotel features a stylish lobby with reception and seating areas, a main restaurant with a non-smoking area, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar, and an amphitheater. In the expansive outdoor area, there is a generously laid-out pool landscape with four swimming pools (three of which can be heated in winter) with a separate children's pool (heatable in winter), a hangout area, and a beach/pool bar, as well as a new food court at the beach with snacks, drinks, and desserts. At the hotel's own beach and at the pools, bath towels, sun loungers, and Suns umbrellas are available free of charge. The Coraya Aquapark is within walking distance and will make children's hearts beat faster.
