Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Indulge in culinary delights at the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. Starting from winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), sitting area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no sitting area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a sitting area, instead having a non-opening window.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sections "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The facility, designed in an Arabic boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam and is situated on a beautiful stretch of coast with an offshore bay with crystal-clear water in the first beach row. Offshore corals invite you to go snorkeling. The Marsa Alam airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

This Schauinsland-Reisen original hotel was built in a noble Bohemian style, paired with modern Arabic accents, and thus offers a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections, the "True Beach Resort", which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" as an adults-only area, which can be booked from 16 years of age. The complex has a total of 158 rooms distributed across both sections and offers a spacious reception area with a reception desk as well as a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating indoors and outdoors (located in the resort). On the first floor of the lobby, there is a rooftop bar "Sama Bar". The village section of the resort (adults-only) is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools, which lead through the entire complex and are also the pools for the swim-up rooms, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heatable). In the middle of the pool landscape, the pool bar "Scarab Bar" as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge await you. Guests of the village section also have access to a Greek restaurant "ILIOS" and an Asian restaurant "NORI", both located on the beach. On the beach, guests can additionally find the bars "ILIOS Bar" and "Salt Bar". Furthermore, guests of the village section have access to the main restaurant "El Manzil" and the fish restaurant "Ritsa" (both located in the resort area). The resort area has two spacious pools as well as a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (main pool heatable in winter). An island in the main pool, reachable via a wooden bridge, offers chillout areas with loungers and beanbags for young and old. Furthermore, the complex has the pool bar "Maya", a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, as well as various shops and a hairdresser and spa area. Guests of the village section may use both sections, but not the other way around. Sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach.
