Travel Information

Combination package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel package you have selected lasts for 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always lasts for seven days according to the program. Visit the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1.2.3).
Lunch on board.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sq m) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

True Beach Resort

The True Beach Resort, consisting of the "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arabic Boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam and is situated on a fantastic coastline with a bay in front of it with crystal-clear water, right on the beachfront. Coral reefs offshore invite snorkeling (bathing shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen Original Hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style, combined with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two parts, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an Adult-Only area, bookable for ages 16 and up. The complex has a total of 158 rooms distributed across both sections and features a spacious reception area with a reception desk and a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating both indoors and outdoors. The resort area has two spacious pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chillout areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a children's splash pool with various water games are located next to the mini club and the adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet style, and once per stay, the seafood restaurant "Ritsa" located on the beach is also included. The three à la carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (asian-fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the Village area and are available for a fee (Adult only, reservation required). Furthermore, the complex has a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar, and various shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The Village area is surrounded by a generous water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool offering views of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find a pool bar "Scarab Bar" as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge. Two further bars "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" Bar directly on the beach are available in the Village area. Guests of the Village area can use both parts of the complex, but not vice versa. Loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (filled with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water on arrival, water is refilled daily), kettle and safe, seating area, and terrace, and are approx. 47 sq m. Upgrade Superior Double Room Sea View

The room (UMB) has the same amenities as the Superior Double Room Sea View and additionally offers the following:
