Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days as per the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3), dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
5th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
6th Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
7th Day:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
8th Day:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your culinary well-being. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully equipped cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sub-areas „True Beach Resort“ (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The facility, designed in an Arabic boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam and is situated on a dreamlike coastal section with an offshore bay with crystal-clear water in the first beach row. Offshore corals invite you to go snorkeling (swim shoes recommended). The Marsa Alam airport is about 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in a classy bohemian style, paired with modern Arabic accents, and thus offers a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star facility consists of two sub-areas, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an adult-only area, which is bookable from 16 years. The facility has a total of 158 rooms, which are distributed over both sub-areas, and offers a spacious reception area with a reception as well as a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating in the indoor and outdoor areas. The resort area has two spacious pools as well as a whirlpool, which is integrated into the main pool (one of which is heatable in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas for young and old with loungers and beanbags. A children's pool as well as a children's splash pool with various water games is located next to the miniclub and the adjacent playground with a sun sail. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form; in addition, the fish restaurant "Ritsa" located on the beach is included once per stay. The three à-la-carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian-fusion) as well as "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the village area and are for a fee (adult only, reservation required). Furthermore, the facility has a pool bar "Maya", a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar as well as various shops and a hairdresser as well as a spa area. The village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that lead through the entire facility, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heatable). In the middle of the pool landscape, a pool bar "Scarab Bar" awaits you as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge. Two more bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" bar directly on the beach, are available in the village area. Guests of the village area are allowed to use both sub-areas, but not vice versa. Loungers, sun umbrellas, and bath towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

The friendly furnished double rooms Superior (DSU) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (filled on arrival with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water, water is refilled daily), kettle and safe, seating area and terrace and are approx. 47 m² in size. Also bookable as type I (DSI) with the same equipment, limited quota, and special price. Optionally also bookable for single use (DEU). Optionally also bookable with side sea view (D2S/S1S) or with direct sea view (DMU/EMU, as type I DMI). Bookable as a swim-up room under RMF444.

Upgrade Double Room Superior Sea View

The room (UMB) features the same amenities as the Double Room Superior sea view plus the following:
- Fruit basket on arrival
- Bottle of wine in the room
- 10% discount on treatments in the hotel's own spa area

Double Room Superior Seafront

The Double Rooms Superior Seafront (RF2) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (filled on arrival with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water, water is refilled daily), kettle and safe, seating area and terrace or balcony and are approx. 47 m² in size.
