Location

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach and thus offers the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates entry into deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex has a reception with seating and an associated outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adults-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an Island and Kidspool (all pools are heated in winter). The restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant during the day and an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The family rooms (2FA) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms and feature a bunk bed.

Family Suite

The rooms (2FS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 sqm) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but more spacious (SUJ, approx. 60 sqm). Additionally, these rooms have access to the shared swim-up pool. Also bookable for single use (SUE).

Deluxe Beach Front Swim-up Suite

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and have, with similar amenities to the double rooms, a terrace with direct access to the shared pool. The rooms are located in close proximity to the beach.

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 70 sqm and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms have, with other similar amenities, a balcony with a jacuzzi and a sea view.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea, as well as various freshly squeezed juices (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM, and late riser breakfast 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM upon request), lunch (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM), and dinner (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM) in buffet style. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included (subject to availability and with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM international cuisine, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A midnight snack is available to guests from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM in the Boscage Restaurant. Included Sports

An indoor fitness studio with various CrossFit equipment is available to guests free of charge from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The minimum age for the fitness studio is 16 years. Children's Program

For the little holidaymakers, the SUNRISE Kids Planet Club is available (kids' club is multilingual, including German). It caters to children aged 3-12 years and is open every day of the week. The resort also has a children's pool, a mini disco, and a separate area in the buffet restaurant. Babysitting service is available upon request for a fee.

Wellness

The spa area (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM) has a sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, and Turkish bath, and also offers guests various massages. The spa area is accessible for a fee and for guests aged 16 and over. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Sailing on to Kom Ombo in the morning.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and relax with cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.
