Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes place for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continuing cruise from Esna.
Then, proceed to Aswan, where overnight will take place.

In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm in size and feature a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Budget Cabins

The budget cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

Clear sea water in front of a sandy shore with a beach hotel on the horizon under a blue sky.
The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach and thus offers the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates entry into deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex features a reception area with seating and an adjoining outdoor terrace. The outdoor area of the complex includes five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an island and kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant until the evening and an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available for guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. In addition, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The rooms (2FS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 sqm) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

The Executive Suites have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (ES2, approx. 70 sqm). The rooms feature a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a dressing room, a bathroom with a separate shower, a seating area, and a terrace.

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and have a terrace with similar amenities to the double rooms. The rooms are located very close to the beach.

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea and various fresh juices (7-10:30 AM and late riser breakfast 10:30-11 AM upon request, included), lunch (1-3 PM) and dinner (7-10 PM) buffet style. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also included without restriction (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7-10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30-5 PM international cuisine, 7-10 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30-10 PM and offers Asian cuisine. Coffee, tea, and cake are offered daily from 3 PM to 5 PM at the "Indigo Bar." A midnight snack is available for guests from 11 PM to 1 AM in the Boscage Restaurant.
