MS Nile Excellence including Excursion

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and sip cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select Marsa Alam

Location

Clear sea water in front of a sandy shore with a beach hotel on the horizon under a blue sky.
The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which first opened in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach, offering the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty makes it easier to enter the deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and features 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex has a reception area with seating and an associated outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adults-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an Island and Kidspool (all pools are heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant during the day and an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort features a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The Executive Suites have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (ES2, approx. 70 sqm). The rooms have a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a dressing room, a bathroom with a separate shower, a seating area, and a terrace.
Also available as a swim-up room with direct access to the shared pool (EXG).

Junior Suite Swim Up

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but more spacious (SUJ, approx. 60 sqm). Additionally, these rooms have access to the shared swim-up pool. Also available for single use (SUE).
