Location

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its sea turtle population and has a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is located approximately 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the resort. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very attractive, elegant design and has been conceived with ample space. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and features a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area and on the private beach section, and bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Adjacent to it is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available for your use.

Double Room Superior

The brightly decorated Double Rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51m²) have a walk-in shower/WC, individually controlled air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single occupancy (DSU, DSP, DSS, DMU).

Double Room Superior with guaranteed sea view from the top floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Double Rooms Premium Swim-up (DWP) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms and have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, but with direct access to the shared pool. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket in the room upon arrival
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, 2 additional bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, à la carte restaurants are only included once).

Double Deluxe

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, the Double Deluxe rooms (DD2) are larger (approx. 56m²) and suitable for families due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Optionally also bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually controlled air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² and, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a spacious terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Double Room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

All Inclusive

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7 AM-10 AM), lunch (12:30 PM-2:30 PM), and dinner (7 PM-10 PM) in buffet style. A late riser breakfast is also available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, two à la carte restaurants are available to guests (reservation required), which are included once per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but then at a charge: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Afternoon tea is served from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer various refreshments and snacks during the day, such as "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
Gentlemen must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no muscle shirts/tank tops or shorts of any length.
For ladies, shorts are acceptable for dinner, but not hot pants or very short shorts.

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks at a charge.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.
