Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days as per the program. Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.

In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

Facilities

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, distributed across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same facilities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Steigenberger Resort Alaya

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is possible via a jetty. From here, you can discover the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only about 5 km from Marsa Alam Airport.

Facilities

The beautiful adults-only facility (bookable from 16 years) features 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious lobby area offers guests a reception and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. A main restaurant and four à la carte restaurants ("Basilico" - Italian, "Rocca" - Asian, "Zaytoun" - Oriental, "Mashawi" - Seafood) provide guests with delicious meals. You will find a wide selection of drinks in the various bars.
The outdoor area of the complex has five spacious pools (some can be heated in winter) and inviting sun terraces.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge at the pool and the beach.

The Royal Suites (RSM) are luxuriously appointed and have the same features as the double rooms. The Royal Suite is approx. 160 m² and is additionally equipped with 2 bathrooms with bathtub, Jacuzzi, living area, sleeping area, and has a terrace with a private pool.

Double Room Superior

The comfortably furnished Double Superior (DSU) rooms are 40 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, LED TV, safe, telephone (for a fee), balcony, and garden view.
For an extra charge, also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), or sea view (DMU) as well as for single use (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).
