Product information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Departure from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Departure to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Departure to Esna and visit to the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed over several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet style. Drinks are available for a fee.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Budget Cabins

The budget cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is via a jetty. From here, the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya can be discovered. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only approx. 5 km from Marsa Alam Airport.

Facilities

The beautiful adults-only complex (bookable from 16 years of age) has 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious reception area offers guests a reception and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. The main restaurant and four à la carte restaurants ("Basilico" - Italian, "Rocca" - Asian, "Zaytoun" - Oriental, "Mashawi" - Seafood) cater to guests' culinary needs. The various bars offer a wide selection of drinks.
In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five generously designed pools (some heated in winter) and inviting sun terraces.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Royal Suite Sea View Private Pool

The Royal Suites (RSM) are luxuriously appointed and have the same amenities as the double rooms. The Royal Suite is approx. 160 sqm and is additionally equipped with 2 bathrooms with bathtub, Jacuzzi, living area, sleeping area, and has a terrace with a private pool.

Double Room Superior

The comfortably furnished Double Superior (DSU) rooms are 40 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, LED TV, safe, telephone (for a fee), balcony, and garden view.
Also available at an additional cost with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), or sea view (DMU), as well as for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Double Superior Swim Up

The Double Superior Swim Up (DWP) rooms have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms but are slightly more spacious (approx. 50 sqm) and have direct access to the pool from the terrace.
Also available for single occupancy at an additional cost (EWP).

Double Deluxe Sea View

The Double Deluxe Sea View (DM2) rooms have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 70 sqm), and additionally feature a dressing room and a balcony.

Double Deluxe Swim-Up

The Double Deluxe Swim Up (DWU) rooms are bookable as a Schauinsland original. The rooms have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 70 sqm), and have direct access to the sharing pool.
Also available with sea view (DWS) and for single occupancy (WU1/EWS).

Double Premium Deluxe Swim Up

The Double Premium Deluxe Swim Up rooms (PWS) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 75 sqm), with an integrated Jacuzzi and access to the shared pool.
Also available with sea view at an additional cost (DUM).

The Double Premium Deluxe Sea View rooms are similar in amenities to the Double Superior rooms, but are larger at approx. 75m² and have a sea view (P2M).
