Travel Information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected lasts for 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional hot air balloon trip (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.

You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant with delicious dishes caters to your culinary needs. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the Iberotel Costa Mares is part of the renowned JAZ Hotel Group. The coral reef offshore offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the most famous spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment facilities is about 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only about 8 km.

Facilities

The modern hotel complex (from Winter 2025/2026, Adults only from 16 years!) has a total of 208 rooms spread across the main building and annexes. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with reception, a gym, various shops, and a spa area. For your culinary needs, there is a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à la carte restaurants.
