Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must arrive in Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise follows, the return flight must depart from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to see the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) and the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will stay overnight.

Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the JAZ Costa Mares hotel is part of the renowned JAZ hotel group. The offshore coral reef offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the most famous spots for diving with dugongs and sea turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment options is approx. 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only about 8 km.

Facilities

The modern hotel complex (adults-only, bookable from age 16) has a total of 208 rooms spread across the main building and annexes. The stylish hotel features a modern lobby with reception, a gym, various shops, and a spa area. Dining options include a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à la carte restaurants. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties, while the "Sands" is located on the beach and serves international cuisine (both restaurants are included once per week for stays of at least 7 nights, subject to availability and reservation) as well as several bars.
