Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most cost-effective available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
At 5 a.m. a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian Village (3).

5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then proceed back to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modern outside cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Indulge in culinary delights at the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) feature the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may be without a French balcony and without a seating area, instead featuring a non-opening window.

The Albatros Makadi Resort is located in the popular Makadi Bay. The Albatros Makadi Resort is only approx. 35 km away from Hurghada International Airport. The hotel, in a prime location, lies directly on a 600-meter-long white sandy beach and offers the perfect conditions for swimming. The offshore house reef offers ideal opportunities and conditions for snorkeling to get to know the beautiful and colorful underwater world of the Red Sea.

Facilities

The completely refurbished resort has 869 spacious rooms distributed across several buildings. Furthermore, the hotel is equipped with a cozy lobby and various shops. Culinary needs are catered for by six buffet restaurants and two snack restaurants (Asian, Oriental, Italian, seafood, steakhouse, etc.) as well as five bars.

Deluxe Sea View Double Room

The sea view rooms are approx. 40-45 m² in size and are attractively equipped with shower/bath, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, minibar (water daily free of charge), and balcony. (DM) Also bookable for single use (DME).

Deluxe Double Room (HRGB26)

The Deluxe double rooms are identical in size and equipment to the Deluxe sea view double rooms, but have no sea view (DD2/DD3/1DD). Additionally bookable with sea-side orientation (X2M/X1M) or with garden view (DDA).

Splash Aqua Park View Room

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 106 m² in size and consist of two rooms with a connecting door (one bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds). The rooms feature two bathrooms with a shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, dressing area, minibar (water daily free of charge), and a spacious balcony with a view of the Aqua Park.
