Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon flight is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, can be booked on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning trip to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continuation to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be added on site).

Amenities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins, which are spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small gym that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The Albatros Makadi Resort is located in the popular Makadi Bay. The Albatros Makadi Resort is only approx. 35 km from Hurghada International Airport. The hotel, in a prime location, is situated directly on a 600-meter-long, white sandy beach and offers the perfect conditions for swimming. The offshore house reef offers ideal opportunities and conditions for snorkeling to explore the beautiful and colorful underwater world of the Red Sea.

Amenities

The completely renovated resort has 869 spacious rooms, which are spread over several buildings. In addition, the hotel is equipped with a cozy lobby and various shops. Splash Room Aqua Park View

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 106 m² and consist of two rooms with a connecting door (one bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds).
