Location

Built in Moroccan style, the hotel of the renowned Jaz Hotel Group is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with beautiful views of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The water park is about 3 km from the hotel.

The Jaz Makadina is nestled in beautiful gardens and has 270 rooms spread across several small buildings. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi ensures culinary variety.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden area features a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Double Superior

The cheerfully furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities (replenished daily free of charge), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. Daily a large bottle of water in the room (free of charge).
Also bookable with pool view (DSP), partial sea view (D2S), sea view (DMU), or for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).
For single occupancy, type B (DEB) is also available at a special price and limited capacity.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are slightly more spacious (approx. 47 sqm). The sleeping area is visually separated by a curtain.
Also available at an extra charge with pool view (FUP) or sea side (FY2).

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 sqm), and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated from the rest of the room by a curtain.
Also bookable as Deluxe Double Room (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms Superior. The children's sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Junior Suite Partial Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 sqm) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs with the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms. The Junior Suites have 56 sqm. They offer a variety of beautiful views and are luxuriously furnished.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning continuation to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small gym, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the French balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only a single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with the same amenities as the suites, and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but instead a non-opening window.
