Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel offer you selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (bookable optionally on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The friendly furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped the same as the Suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) than the Suites with otherwise the same amenities, and may have a non-opening window instead of a French balcony and without a seating area.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served as a buffet or set menu. Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot beverages. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

The hotel, built in Moroccan style by the renowned JAZ Hotel group, is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approximately 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The water park is about 3 km from the hotel.

Facilities

The JAZ Makadina is nestled in a beautiful garden setting and has 270 rooms spread across several small buildings in the complex. The hotel is also equipped with an inviting reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. Culinary diversity is provided not only by the show cooking in the hotel restaurant but also by the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi. In the beautifully and spaciously designed garden area, you will find the pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area. Sun loungers, mattresses, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Double Superior

The friendly furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (daily free refill), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. Daily a large bottle of water in the room (free of charge). Also available as Double room with Pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), sea view (DMU), or for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME). For single occupancy, type B (DEB) is also available at a special price and limited quantity.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are slightly more spacious at approx. 47 m² and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain. Also available at an extra charge with pool view (FUP) or sea-facing (FY2).

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior rooms (SU2), with similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain. Also bookable as Deluxe Double Room (DD2). In this room type, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door. Also available at an extra charge with pool view (FPD).

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 m²) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs, with the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms. The Junior Suites are 56 m². They offer a variety of wonderful views and are luxuriously furnished.
