The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor refreshing drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must be to Luxor. Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then, we head back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues sailing to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

The hotel, built in Moroccan style by the renowned JAZ Hotel Group, is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with beautiful views of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The Aquapark is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

Facilities

The JAZ Makadina is nestled in a beautiful garden and features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept in Souk Makadi offers culinary variety.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden area includes a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor Jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, mattresses, parasols, and towels are provided free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

The Suite Superior rooms (SU2), with similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 sqm) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain from the rest of the room.
Also bookable as Double Deluxe (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.
